An updated Ford Model 40A, the model 48’s were only available with a V8 rather than the 4 cylinder Model A engine of previous years. Stylish and popular, the Model 48’s in all configuration were updated cosmetically every year until 1937 where they were refreshed as a design. (And totally redesigned in 1941.).
